Prolifics Testing are looking for an experienced trainer with experience in software testing to join our team, in either a full or part-time capacity, to deliver the industry standard training course in testing, the ISTQB Foundation Certificate, a 3-day course. Delivery will primarily be remote from home or our offices, with occasional client site or public in-person courses in the UK from time to time. We are flexible on the balance of experience between testing and training, as well as the employment model - either part or full-time suit.
Full training in the ISTQB course will be given where needed, as well as course shadowing and mentoring, to allow skills transfer up to the point at which the new joiner is comfortable enough to deliver their own courses.
Part of the role will include course updates and contributions to future development/syllabus enhancements for this and other software testing-related training courses, including our course in User Acceptance Testing.
There is a lot of scope to expand the role into other courses and enhance current materials where needed. Our course has recently been updated to the latest version of the syllabus, which aligns the materials with the latest ways of working in the testing industry.
Requirements:
- A good understanding of the software development life cycle - plus experience/knowledge in software testing
- Experience of running training courses and developing courseware - An experienced trainer/tutor preferably in a computer related subject.
- Already familiar or prepared to become comfortable with the ISTQB Foundation Certificate material in a short period of time
- Courses are usually delivered virtually online, but a flexible approach is needed to travelling when required to deliver client site or public courses in the UK when needed.
